Hey Reader,

From the Mind of Kaelan Moss

After a brutal bike workout - I'm sitting down to write this to you.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Nothing is guaranteed

Success isn’t guaranteed…

Just because someone says that something is gonna happen doesn’t mean IT'S guaranteed…

The only thing that you can guarantee is doing your best.

The results you’re expecting are not guaranteed.

I thought I had a journey figured out

But, I was wrong.

At every turn there’s a new requirement that I didn’t think about.

And it’s teaching me that until you uncover all the stones on your path, and have encountered them, you can’t even begin to expect anything in return.

You must endure the path.

The person with the most stones unturned (and conquered) is the one worthy of entering the arena to compete for the prize.

The journey is the prize!

By going through the journey metaphorically and digitally, you will qualify to enter into the conversation as someone who is considered worthy of any status.

It is the man who continues walking down the journey unknown and forging a path forward who is capable of yielding any power to begin with.

How can the spectator conquer anything he hasn’t already been tested with?

If you have never been tested, mentally or digitally, then how do build your chops?

How do you get the experience?

How do you get the skills?

You must fight the dragon

And while you fight the dragon, you will be fighting other dragons.

At times, things will seem bleak.

It’ll feel like there’s no way out.

But if you endure now, you will come out of the other side.

And when you do come out of the other side, whether it’s today, this week, or next month…

You will have the tools that stand the test of time.

You will be battle tested.

And you will be able to slay bigger dragons.

And if there’s any consolation prize for your efforts, it’s this…

That you will be paid according to the size of the dragons you have slayed (and are capable of slaying)

+ Your ability to negotiate payment for your work

+ The speed that you slay the dragon

+ The likelihood that you can slay the next dragon

+ How many times you have slayed a similar dragon

+ How important it is for the person who is paying you to slay this specific dragon in their life

This is why you must continue to slay dragons.

This "Nothing is guaranteed" article was inspired by a video I saw by Nick Saban called The Importance of Nothing.

If you have some time, I recommend watching the video.

🤯 WOW, This Blew My Mind:

This week, discover Rueben Hassid's Prompt Engineering articles.

With all the talk about AI, it's time to learn legit prompt engineering.

I use AI everyday to help solve challenges, but I haven't really done a deep dive into "how to prompt the right way".

So I decided to practice my prompting skills this week thanks to Rueben's articles.

Here's the prompt engineering article I combed through this week.

💭 Quote of the Week

"How can the spectator conquer anything he hasn't already been tested with?" - Kaelan Moss

👉 If you're not in the trenches going through the pain of progress, then you aren't in a position to conquer the challenges that have been set before you.

The only way forward is through.

You need resilience.

You need grit.

You need pain.

What you need is not another easy day in the comfort zone.

What you need are the battles you're facing right now.

You need to conquer them.

The pain is making you stronger so you can win the bigger battles.

You are capable of so much more, but you need to fight with the mindset that you WILL win.

No matter what you're going through - you must give it your all.

Nothing is acceptable but your best.
